Upon completing his IDF service, Ira is speaking about his time in the current Israel-Hamas War. He shares about his units' October 7th story, where they arrived to the Gaza Envelope after their helicopter was hit by a Hamas rocket, and immediately following an intense battle on the ground, his unit was sent straight to Kibbutz Be'eri. Ira and his fellow soldier spent the next three days in Be'eri helping to save the community and its residents, and then go on to spend over 100 days inside the Gaza Strip. This presentation will show pictures and videos from the war, and can be done in both English or Hebrew.
